THUNYAPHUK WANNASRI

Operations and Research Analyst

Thunyaphuk Wannasri (Fah) was born in a tranquil city in the Northeastern region of Thailand called Mahasarakham. Growing up in a province with diverse social classes, Fah has observed a great disparity in the lives of people and always had the desire to associate herself as a part of better changes and bring more opportunities for underprivileged people. She often carries herself forward by stepping out of her comfort zone as she values every opportunity in life which allows her to discover new exposure and push the boundaries of conception. 

Fah combines one of her passions for sustainability with expertise in operations, research, and project management. She earned her degree in Global Studies and Social Entrepreneurship from Thammasat University, graduating with Second Class Honors. Her academic journey equipped her with a solid foundation in qualitative and quantitative research, design thinking, and community engagement.

In 2024, Fah was selected as a Fellow of the prestigious Young Southeast Asian Leadership Initiative (YSEALI) Academic Fellowship, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. This program provided her with advanced training in environmental issues through coursework and experiential learning at the East-West Center in Hawaii and the University of California, Berkeley.

Before joining PXP Sustainability, Fah led initiatives driving progress in the circular economy and sustainable consumption. As a Fellow in the Thailand Circular Economy Fellowship, she spearheaded the "Waste of Wat Project," developing scalable models for temple waste management. In her role as Impact Program Assistant at PYXERA Global, she facilitated cross-cultural collaborations to support social enterprises in Thailand.

Fah also played a key role in the ECORise project, where she served as a core team member and program developer. This initiative delivered the World Climate Simulation, a hands-on workshop modeled on the UN Climate Change Conference (COP), empowering participants to address the complexities of global climate policy. Working with a multidisciplinary team of sustainability experts, Fah ensured the workshop provided a transformative and impactful learning experience. With her passion for sustainability, Fah continues to drive meaningful change toward a more sustainable future.
