WORABHORN PATHANATECHA (VEE)
ESG Analyst
Vee specializes in materials science research and plastic waste management. She has two years of experience in social enterprises tackling plastic pollution in Thailand. Her present work at PXP is focusing on Environmental-Social-Governance (ESG) strategy, policy research, and life cycle assessment in the circular economy and clean energy.
Before joining PXP, Vee was a project coordinator at RISE IMPACT in the Snowball x Single-Use Plastic (SUP) Challenge program hosted by The Incubation Network in 2022. She had a leading role in data collection for life cycle assessment of reusable packaging developed by startups in the program. Earlier, Vee also co-developed a business model of alternative packaging for small-medium enterprises (SMEs) at Tact Social Consulting.
Between 2020-2021, Vee was a project manager and a product developer at Precious Plastic Bangkok where she organized a community support program to build local recycling capacities at various locations across Thailand. She has utilized her technical and organizational skills in
handling project proposals and reports, managing budgets and administrations, as well as improving recycling techniques to produce new upcycled products from post-consumer plastic waste effectively.
Vee has an academic background in polymer science with a master’s degree in Macromolecular Materials from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden, and a bachelor’s degree in Materials Science (Polymer and Textile Program) from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. Vee’s passion in sustainability is rooted in her student experience at KTH where she volunteered for the KTH Students for Sustainability association to promote better practices on campus. She enjoys developing different solutions to mitigate environmental impacts of human activities through collaborative action and supportive communication.
